ZvK obtains highest damages award in a defamation action in Canadian history

In Clancy v Farid (2023 ONSC 2750), ZvK Partner Maanit Zemel obtains the highest damages award ever made against a single defendant in Canada, totaling more than $4.7 million. The judgment arose out of a campaign of online defamation and harassment of our 53 clients.
