Arbitration

We represent clients and act as neutral arbitrators in both domestic and international commercial arbitrations conducted under the rules of leading Canadian and international arbitration institutions, such as the ADR Institute of Canada (ADRIC), the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), JAMS, and the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL).

We act as arbitrators, conducting complex domestic and international commercial arbitrations with a focus on technology related matters, including disputes related to software development and licensing arrangements, cloud computing agreements, Artificial Intelligence (AI) agreements, data processing agreements (DPAs), e-commerce agreements, outsourcing, procurement, and supply agreements, technology acquisition agreements, and Internet agreements (including click-through agreements and terms of use).

We represent clients before arbitral tribunals regarding a wide range of commercial matters (including commercial contract disputes). We can help with selecting an appropriate arbitrator, negotiating arbitration procedures, presenting complex arguments on industry specific matters, validating arbitral decisions, and enforcing arbitral decisions before the courts.
